1 孕前和产前健康：概述 Preconception and Prenatal Health: Overview
Welcome to the training on Preconception and Prenatal Health: Overview provided by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). This training includes five modules that can be taken individually or in sequence. We urge participants to begin with the Preconception and Prenatal Health: Overview module before taking the other modules.
GOAL
The goal of this module is to equip Texas Health Steps providers and other health-care professionals to improve the preconception and prenatal health of women in Texas.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Primary care providers and other health professionals who treat adolescent and adult female patients who may become pregnant again or for the first time.
Note: For purposes of this module, the term "women" also includes adolescent girls of reproductive age.
SPECIFIC LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After completing the activities of this module, you will be able to:
Determine the most opportune timeframe in which providers can contribute to healthy pregnancy outcomes.
Integrate preconception health care and counseling into preventive medical checkups.
