A new integrated stage model, Health Action Process Approach (HAPA) was overviewed in this paper. Directions and suggestions such as the suitability and accuracy of HAPA stage classification in behavior change process, comparative study of HAPA model with other con- tinuum or stage models, exploring study on mechanism underlying behavior change process and the construction and chinization of health behavior models were presented in the end. 【Key words 】 Health behavior ； Continuum model ； Stage
