Description : Fresh lychee fruits are available in the markets from June to October. The Fruit must be allowed to ripen fully on the tree itself since the ripening process stops soon after harvested. Over maturity makes them turn dark-brown in appearance and lose their luster and flavor. While harvesting, snip off the entire fruit brunch, keeping just a short piece of the stem attached to the fruit.

荔枝外形渾圓紅潤，果肉晶瑩透白，屬於溫熱性。營養成分極高，能養胃，促進食慾，強健身體、滋補頭腦。其中維生素C可以潤血、活血，加強血液循環。成分中含多量的天然葡萄酸，能有效滋養四肢冰冷、體溫不足和貧血虛弱者，但要避免一次食用過量，以免造成血糖突然下降，而導致口渴、上火或四肢無力以及頭暈等現象發生。
保存法
裹上報紙，再套上塑膠袋密封，放進冰箱冷藏，―週內風味不變，口感更加心涼。
