主要从事食品营养与人类健康研究方向,包括:

1. 食品营养功能组分发掘与功效评价:结合我国特色食材资源和全民营养健康现状,发掘果蔬、粮油等传统食品原料中具有调节代谢、改善脑健康问题(情绪、社交、认知功能障碍等)等生理功能的可溶性膳食纤维、多酚和类胡萝卜素类功能成分;

2. 新型膳食模式对代谢综合征及神经退行性疾病的干预作用机制:利用多组学系统生物学研究方法探究限制性饮食模式对肥胖、糖尿病等代谢性疾病,以及衰老相关的阿尔兹海默症、帕金森症等神经退行性疾病的改善作用,揭示间歇性禁食、植物蛋白饮食、特殊氨基酸限制饮食通过调节“肠-肝-脑”轴调节机体微生态免疫平衡、干预系统性胰岛素抵抗、改善与衰老相关的中枢神经系统功能紊乱的分子机制。 [1]

研究发现了高脂高果糖等不合理膳食模式会诱导脑部胰岛素抵抗及认知功能障碍,并尝试探索了通过改变膳食结构和营养组分,干预由于遗传、衰老、不合理饮食、社会压力等因素引起的认知记忆功能紊乱及情绪变化。近年来在食品营养及生物化学领域共发表论文五十余篇,主要成果发表在食品营养与生物化学领域等具有国际影响力的期刊上,论文总引次数超过800余次,H-index 17,i10index 25。其中ESI前1%高被引论文3篇,封面文章1篇,参编英文专著1部。

近5年来主持包括国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年项目、陕西省重点研发计划、中国博士后特别资助、企业横向课题等科研项目10余项,荣获2018年陕西省科学技术进步奖二等奖(排名第二)及陕西省高等学校科学技术一等奖(排名第二)。目前任Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience审稿编辑,Free radical biology & medicine, Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Journal of Nutrition, Journal of Functional Foods等食品营养学杂志审稿人。美国营养学会、欧洲自由基研究学会会员。多次受邀参与多个国际重要学术会议,包括美国营养学会(American Societyof Nutrition)、美国加州自由基协会(Oxygen California Club)以及戈登会议(Gordon Research Seminar & Gordon Research Conference)、国际脂质科学与健康研讨会等国际会议并做学术报告。 [1]
