Disclosed is a method and system for detecting a psychological condition of a user. An information capturing module captures textual content from one or more social networking servers. An anomaly identification module derives a textual pattern over a periodic time interval based upon analysis of the textual content. A reasoning module detects a psychological disorder of a plurality of psychological disorders. A rating scale module displays contextual information to the user based upon the psychological disorder detected. The rating scale module further receives a response associated with the contextual information from the user. The response signifies presence of the psychological disorder in the user. The rating scale module further assigns a score based upon the response. The rating scale module further validates the psychological disorder detected based upon the score, thereby detecting the psychological condition of the user.展开▼
