Effects of education model based on health consciousness theory on the health behaviors ability in discharged patients with acute pancreatitis

Objective To explore the influence of education model based on health consciousness theory on the health behaviors ability in discharged patients with acute pancreatitis. Methods Ninety eight cases of patients with first symptom of acute pancreatitis are divided into treatment group(n=48)and control group(n=50).The treatment group was tested with education model based on health consciousness theory,while the control group was given routine health education.With Health BehaviorsAbility Quantization Table,the 100 patients were investigated before discharge and 2 weeks,1 month,3 months after discharge.Results There was no statistical difference between the two groups before their being discharged.But all kindsof scoresof the treatment group were higher than those of the control group in another three investigations two weeks, one month,and three months after discharge respectives,which had statistical significance(P<0. 05).After discharge,scores of the treatment group increased gradually as time went by,while the control group′s score in all was higher in one month than in two weeks,and began to fall after one month,and overtopped before discharge in every side three months later.Conclusion Compared with routine health education,the education model based on health consciousness theory can significantly improve the health behaviors ability in discharged patients with acute pancreatitis.
