The Study of the Effect of Family Support on Psychological Health in the Elderly Citizens

With the acceleration of an aging society,the elderly citizens are more urgent in health needs,especially psychological health needs,as well as the material needs.In this study,the Ordered-Probit model is used to analyze these people’s psychological health and the factors affecting their health based on field work.The results show that the relationship between the elderly citizens and their supporters in terms of financial support,psychological soothing and life care has an important effect on their psychological health;in other words,the better their relationship with their family members,the healthy their psychology.
